The Greek Fraternities and Sororities are governed by an umbrella organization, Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and the Multicultural Greek Council.  Each council assists the chapters in programing, philanthropies, recruitment, Greek Week, Vandal Friday, and list goes on.  The councils are made up of executive officers that are elected by the chapters and they are advised by the Greek Advisor.  Each council is also guided by national organizations, National Interfraternity Conference, the National Panhellenic Conference, and the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations.
