RECRUITMENT TIPS Tip 1: When making your membership decision keep an open mind.  During Recruitment you will learn about the chapters’ activities and programs, the chapters’ ideals and values, and meet many outstanding UI students.  Consider all these things when deciding.  You will find a chapter where you feel comfortable, a chapter where you can be involved, a chapter that will support your ideals, a chapter you can be successful in. Tip 2: If you can not participate in Formal Recruitment and/or would like to join during the Fall semester please consider a Fall semester only Residence Hall contract.  All first year members of the Greek chapters are required to move in.  Cancelling a year long housing contract can be expensive.  A semester only contract can be less costly when cancelling and also easy to renew if you decide not to join a chapter.
