Scholarships for Continuing Students |
|
 |
Continuing students are automatcially considered for scholarships each year. Here are some things you should know.
- All continuing students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships for the upcoming year if they are enrolled in at least 9 UI credits (UG), 6 UI credits (GR), or 10 UI credits (Law) during the previous spring semester
- File a FAFSA (www.uidaho.edu/finaid/fafsa) by February 15 for priority consideration for need-based scholarships and federal financial aid
- Most University of Idaho scholarships are awarded early in the spring of each academic year
- Any scholarship funds that become available are re-awarded throughout the year
- Scholarship recipients are required to enroll full-time to receive funds each semester unless the donor of the funds has indicated that part-time students are eligible. Full-time is defined as 12 credits (UG), 9 credits (GR), and 10 credits (Law)
- Scholarship awarding is competitive - grades are important!
