The University of Idaho LGBTQA Office
Is a safe and welcoming space for members of the university community to explore aspects of sexual orientation and gender issues in an open and non-judgmental atmosphere. We strive to promote full inclusion of LGBT persons and their allies at UI and to eliminate homophobia, heterosexism, and sexism on our campus.
Location & Hours
The LGBTQA Office shares space in the Women's Center in Room 109, Memorial Gym. Staff are available for questions, support and resources between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Programs Support & Events
Our office sponsors a variety of programs such as lunch discussions, educational programs, social events, speakers and film screenings to UI students, faculty, and staff as well as interested community members. UI departments, classes, and living groups can request Safe Zone presentations from the LGBTQA office.
