"Today, I am going to give you two examinations, one in trigonometry and one in honesty. I hope you will pass them both, but if you must fail one, let it be trigonometry, for there are many good people in this world today who cannot pass an examination in trigonometry, but there are no good people in the world who cannot pass an examination in honesty."
~ Madison Sarrat, (1891-1978) Dean, Vanderbilt University |
Academic integrity is the cornerstone value of learning. The Academic Integrity Initiative provides tools, information and support to promote a climate of honesty and integrity here at the University of Idaho. Faculty, staff and student leaders have important responsibilities to contribute to this effort in creating an academic culture that celebrates honesty, fairness and trust.
The University of Idaho is a proud member of The Center for Academic Integrity. This membership provides UI faculty, students, and administrators priviledged access to an extensive collection of resources and information.
