Eligibility
If you or someone you know could benefit from the Student Support Services program, please call or stop by the SSS office (Commons, Room 306) to arrange an appointment.
Enrollment
Enrollment is limited and students are accepted on a first-come, first-serviced basis. |
Interested students must meet with a staff member to discuss eligibility. |
Once a student is enrolled in SSS, an educational plan is mutually developed. |
Students are expected to take an active role in the SSS program. |
Qualifications
A student must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident and accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled at the University of Idaho. In addition, a student must show academic need and maintain one of the following:
Financially limited (according to federal qualifying income levels). |
First generation family (neither parent has a baccalaureate degree). |
Documented physical or learning disability that impacts learning |
*Although SSS is open to all qualified students who show academic need, the program primarily serves students who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree.*
