General Education Requirements (Before 2008)
As part of their University of Idaho general education, first-year students who have not previously attended any college complete at least 18 credits in General Core Studies by enrolling in a combination of Core Discovery Courses, Cluster Courses, International Courses, Humanities and Social Science Courses, and General Core Electives.
Every new student chooses one year-long course from the Core Discovery list. These courses are designed for first-year students and are taught in small sections by instructors who really care about student learning and success in college. Students and instructors together explore interesting topics with current and historical importance and form a tight community. More »
