Support for Instructors

The Core Curriculum Office is available to help instructors by:

  • Working with the University Committee for General Education and upper-level administrators to advocate for the needs of instructors and students in the Core Curriculum.
  • Working with academic and administrative departments to complete necessary employment paperwork for instructors and peer mentors
  • Reserving rooms for regular and special class sessions and meetings
  • Ordering instructor desk copies of text books and other materials
  • Obtaining instructional equipment and supplies
  • Connecting instructors to teaching development opportunities
  • Offering advice on and support with classroom management and other instructional issues

The Core Curriculum Office is housed with the Center for Academic Advising where academic advisors can answer instructor questions and appointments can be made to have academic advisors speak with individual students and classes about completing academic requirements and fulfilling academic and personal goals.
