Grad Finale -March 25-26, 2009
Grad Finale is an event held each semester at the Idaho Bookstore to provide a time where graduating seniors can order their caps, gowns, announcements, tassels, cords and take a survey about their experience at the University. SArb represents the link between the Alumni Association and the students and it is their charge assist soon-to-be grads and let them know how to stay connected to Idaho after graduation.

Dad's Weekend
SArb hosts Dad’s Weekend in the fall and organizes many of the events. Events include the annual father/student Golf Tournament, Vandal Dad’s that are alumni reception, an Idaho football game, and Saturday night dinner and entertainment.

Vandal Walk/President's BBQ
This event kicks off the fall semester welcoming new students to the University of Idaho campus by taking them on a reverse of the walk they will take at Commencement. Vandal Walk is led from the Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center to the Administration Lawn where administrators serve the new students dinner. As Vandal Pride advocates, SArb members hand out Vandal Game Day T-shirt to all new students and leads the incoming class in a favorite Idaho tradition – the fight song.

Vandal Networking Night
The event is held each semester the day prior to the career expo. SArb works in coordination with the Alumni Association and Career and Professional Planning Office. Alumni are asked to participate in a panel discussion on the importance of building a professional network and their personal experiences. All students are encouraged to attend and refreshments are provided for an hour of socializing following the panel discussion.

Beat BSU Week
As Vandal Pride Advocates it is only natural for SArb to encourage a little friendly competition. Beat BSU Week is a time for students to show their school spirit for an entire week leading up to the Idaho-Boise football game on Saturday. Activities include: Dunk the Bronco, a food drive challenge with BSU,
Conquer the Bronc bull riding and pin the tail on the donkey.

Mom’s Weekend- April 18-19, 2009
Students are encouraged to invite their mothers to campus to get a taste of what day-to day life is like for their kids. The schedule for mom’s weekend includes activities such as a brunch for students and their mom’s, a Silver and Gold football scrimmage, Phi Delta Theta Turtle Derby, Kappa Kappa Gamma Fun Run, dinner and entertainment and films.

Easter Egg Hunt- April 11, 2009
SArb invites children of area University of Idaho faculty, staff, alumni and general community members, to the University of Idaho administration lawn to scout for eggs. The event is a fun and controlled environment for children as well as a way to connect alumni and students.

Silver and Gold Tree Dedication- April 7, 2009
Members of SArb select a University of Idaho family member to be honored with the planting of a tree every year on April 7 – the “birthday” of the Alumni Association. A ceremony and reception is held on campus for the recipient and a plaque is designed and laid at the base of the newly planted tree.

Relay for Life- April 3-4, 2009
Each spring semester SArbies participate in the Relay for Life supporting the American Cancer Society. Their goal fundraising amount annually is $1,000 and have come up with some exciting new ways to raise the funds.
